The Surviving Family Program (SFP) is a five-day, clinically facilitated group program that assists immediate family members who have lost their service member loved one in the line of duty or to suicide.
Participants are guided by professionals through a process to understand and process their personal experience with traumatic grief. Teaching skills to strengthen emotional regulation, SFP’s group format reduces isolation and builds resources. Share support, make meaning, and promote hope for the future.
All participants receive a clinician follow-up 2-weeks post-program to help support the integration of new skills.
