Founded in 2010 after tragic loss, SOLE Ontario is a women’s group dedicated to supporting survivors affected by line of duty deaths through advocacy, education, and resources. Any tragic loss can turn life upside-down. Losing someone in the line of duty brings along additional experiences unique families of emergency services personnel – including potential legal charges following the death of a spouse and the media attention that goes along with it. Built upon shared experience and community, SOLE offers guidance, support, and hope to its members.
