MyGrief.ca is an online resource to help people move through their grief from the comfort of their own home, at their own pace. It can help you understand bereavement and approach some of the difficult questions that may arise. Developed by the Canadian Virtual Hospice in partnership with grief specialists nationwide and most importantly, people who have experienced the death of someone close to them firsthand.
Each experience with grief is individual. Through easy to navigate, interactive webpages and videos, the MyGrief.ca core course covers content and themes common to loss in general. Specialized modules support unique grief experiences based on particular relationships, such as spouses, parents, siblings, or coworkers. Specialized modules also include closer looks at the particular experiences of traumatic grief, unrecognized grief, and suicide.
Sister site KidsGrief.ca shares guidance and support tailored for children and youth experiencing tragic loss.
