Camp Kerry
The first family bereavement retreat in Canada, this four-day retreat run by qualified counsellors and volunteers has served thousands across Canada and beyond. It offers therapeutic and recreational experiences for children and teens of any age along with their parents, guardians, or extended family members. Activities include nature adventures, music and art therapy, campfires and games, sport and boating, sharing circles, and a candlelight memorial for lost loved ones.
Who is Lumara?
Since 2007, Lumara’s community model of care has offered education, support and services to children, youth, individuals and families impacted by life threatening illness, grief and loss. Recognizing that each person has a unique and ever-changing journey through grief, Lumara’s offers a variety of programs to meet different needs. All programs use evidenced-based and holistic methods to bring light and life after loss.
